CCS Go Green Initiative

Owen Elementary is a Certified Green School in Cumberland County! The Go Green Team is comprised of students who work alongside faculty and staff to share the important message of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle to better support a healthy planet and universe. 

Students monitor and collect recyclable items at home and at school and participate in best practices as modeled by teachers.

Students share positive messages about conservation and sustainability through classwork, contests, and classroom-based activities.
